Isla Expedition is a small company owned and operated by two naturalist and diving guides from the Galapagos. We both started guiding in 2012, and have worked on some of the most renowned cruise ships in the archipelago.
We have been involved in and guided for a variety of different specialty trips, with focuses on such as hiking, snorkeling, kayaking, surfing, sailing, free diving, scuba diving, and fishing.
Prior to guiding, both of us worked on yachts in the Caribbean, Australia, Pacific island and Central America, so we have a keen eye for detail and ensuring that clients have the best possible holiday experience with us. With a strong interest in adventure tourism ourselves, we want to show you that you can explore the Galapagos , and it doesn't have to be the traditional way...
As a small business, we are currently focussing on offering custom made private trips to our clients. We have also gathered all of our field knowledge of the Galápagos islands and curated specialized trips in collaboration with other business owners. For example, surfing retreats with Bocas del Toro Surfing , freediving retreats with Liv for the Sea and photography workshops with Ron Modra.
